For the six million UK wine drinkers who want to learn more but don't know where to start, Wine List is a way to discover great bottles while learning at the same time.

In August, we focused on average revenue per user (ARPU) to see how much additional revenue we could gain from our customer base.

We pushed additional wine sales hard in August and as a result, 17% of customers bought additional wine with an average order value of £43. This was our best month for upsells to date and a 253% increase against July for upsell revenue.

We introduced tiers (6 bottles at £99, 12 bottles at £189) into the mix and so far 8% of customers have opted for these since launch.

Fundraising continues to go well – and we plan to close in September this first tranche in, with a Crowdcube tranche going live after.

We hit higher churn this month – driven by our biggest supply chain and fulfillment issues to date. We have resolved these now and expect retention to rebound in September.
